The Superbia Earring Collection is an homage to all my dear ones in the LGBTQ+ family. The Latin word ‘superbia’ directly translates to ‘pride’. 🏳️🌈
I chose a simple black-and-white color scheme for these earrings instead of the bright colors of their respective flags as a sign of unity between all of us in the community. In color magick, black is also representative of protection and white is symbolic of inclusion and light.
As a bisexual woman who never felt safe or comfortable coming out in her younger years, I want to show support to my community by donating a portion of the proceeds from all Superbia sales to The Trevor Project for LGBTQ+ youth.
